Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing two families, both with 15 month-olds. This age is fun, because at this age they have pretty developed personalities and are really starting to assert their independence. That is, of course, what makes it a challenge as well! Little Bella did not want to stop moving! Newly walking, she is certainly a ball of energy. But look at those eyes, who wouldn’t want to chase her around all day? By the end of our session she was asking me to pick her up, so I think I made a pretty good impression on her!

A little later I met up with Tanner and his family. Once he warmed up to me he was all smiles and we found the secret to getting a big chuckle – High fives from his daddy!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to an awesome vendor I met at a wedding this weekend. I was assisting my colleague Noelle on her wedding and in addition to us and a videographer (who will also get a shout-out soon) They had this awesome photobooth for guests. Purple Monkey was born of necessity when the owner couldn’t find a reasonably priced booth for his own wedding this summer… so he bought his own! He now rents them out for your event, complete with a DVD of the images, a hard copy for you and your guests, and set-up, tear down AND an attendant! It’s really fun, reasonably priced and he’s a super nice guy. Also he’s in Marin so there shouldn’t be travel surcharges for most Sonoma County weddings or parties!

I met with a lovely family yesterday to finally get their family portraits that we’d been trying to schedule for months! Despite my inability to converse coherently, (I was having “a day”) We were able to capture some beautiful images out at Ragle park. This is one of my favorite spots for family portraits and it didn’t disappoint this time. Thanks to all of you, I’ll be in touch soon!

Today I had the honor and privilege of photographing my younger cousin, her husband and their perfectly beautiful baby bump. (incidentally, how did we get to be so old?)  It was a gorgeous day and in addition to a leisurely lunch and watching the doggies play I was able to capture some lovely images. I’m quite pleased with how these turned out and I really hope you guys like them as well!

It was wonderful to catch up with both of you, and I can’t wait to meet your little guy!
