Ok, I apologize in advance for the gushing I’m about to do but…WOW! what a beautiful wedding!!! So many beautiful details, such an amazing location, such GREAT people!  I really can’t say enough nice things about this wedding that Sunny and her family and friends hand crafted. It was held at a family friend’s home in Sebastopol, where they have a replica of an old west town. They owners were friends with a prop person from Hollywood and in addition to the town there are antique buggies (including one from “Gone with the Wind), vintage cars and all sorts of other amazing props around the property. In fact the bride got dressed for the day in the “Saloon” – jokes about the brothel upstairs were a vital part of the gettin’ ready ;)

On to the photos!

I’m not usually a fan of jordan almonds, but don’t these look just perfectly adorable in the little nests?

Sunny’s friend from Oregon, an organic farmer, brought some dyed blue chicken eggs to adorn all the tables – such a great little touch!

I’m also a sucker for colored shoes – these blue heels looked so cute peeking out from under her dress!

Doesn’t she look happy?

I adore the suits the picked out for the men – dark cream colored linen. Very classy.

The new couple’s last name is St. Germain which is also the name of a liqueur made from elderflower blossoms. These custom St. Germain cocktails were served to the guests before the reception.

The cake continued the robin’s egg blue color scheme, with the lovely pop of orange dahlias – really a great pallete.

I’m a sucker for the juxtoposition of the bride and groom all dolled up in front of the rundown old blacksmith shop!

And of course a lot of dancing well into the night!

Congratulations, you guys! Enjoy your honeymoon and all the rest of your new life together!

I knew yesterday’s wedding was going to be beautiful – how could it not be, perched on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the pacific ocean… a reception nestled in a field below the trees. But I didn’t know just how fun it was going to be!  It was laughter start to finish, even with those day-of snags most everyone runs into. The bride and groom were so easy going, nothing seemed to phase them! (not even the rental place loosing the reservations for chairs! i would have lost my marbles!) Regardless, the ceremony was touching and sweet and truly reflected the character and personality of these two.

Congratulations, I wish you both the best!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to photograph my dear friend and her sweet little guy. Little Ezra has the BEST giggle. Like, every time he starts I can hardly contain the giggles myself. It does make it difficult to actually photograph the baby when you’re laughing so hard your eyes start to water. How I WISH I could embed audio into the post! My friend Brooke is an amazing healer, her company Mosaic Healing Arts is located on the Peninsula and she specializes in this really cool techniques called Body Talk. I won’t bother attempting to explain it, I’ll leave that to the experts! It’s really incredible and has helped me and others immensely.

But honestly, this kid is so cute and so sweet and look at those big ol’ eyes! siiiiigh.

It’s been about a year since I photographed this (not so) little man and his family.  Having just learned to run, it was quite a workout chasing after him, especially in the 90 degree heat! Luckily, we found a few techniques to keep him entertained!
