This is rapidly becoming a catch-all blog, isn’t it? These are my new birthday crowns just listed on my etsy shop! funky, soft and guaranteed to make the birthday kid even cuter than before.
I also was just asked to participate on a project that I probably can’t talk about yet. I’m excited, and you will hear about it more, I’m sure! I’m honored to be asked and I hope that I will not look like the freshman in the group of people that are being asked to participate.
In other news, it’s still raining! This time it is a cold, cold, rain. I had half a thought that it was going to snow last night, but that be my wimpy California native tushy showing. ah yes.

Yes. It’s been a rainy week. But the sun is out for a brief bit today, while we all enjoy being back to work and school. The weather brought about a somewhat dreary ending to our little holiday break, and I for one was VERY ready to be out of the house, have power and get back to work. This week is “clean up” week at the studio. Finish up all that old billing and paperwork from 2007, get ready for taxes (yuck) and clean up the studio! It’s always a lot, but it feels so good to start fresh.
I also really want to thank all my clients again. 2007 was a really good year for me business and creative wise, and I ‘m hoping that 2008 will be even better. I’m officially offering weddings again, and I’m already booking weddings for the summer and spring. If you’re thinking of using me, now is the time to reserve your space. This is also a good time to think about planning your Mother’s Day portraits. I’ll be running another Mom’s Club special soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
